FX Drops First Celebrity-Packed Trailer for ‘American Horror Stories’

It’s been well over a year since we learned that Ryan Murphy was gifting us with an AHS spinoff called American Horror Stories and now, we finally have a first look trailer.

On Thursday, FX dropped footage from the debut season of the series and we can’t believe how many celebs are involved (we’re talking Kaia Gerber, Paris Jackson, Matt Bomer, to name a few.) The new horror drama is a weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story in each episode. It is executive produced by Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray and Manny Coto.

And the new clip includes everything from a killer Santa to séances, deadly drive-in movies, flame throwers and haunted houses. “There are hundreds of spirits in this place,” Bomer says in part of the video. “Most of them not very nice.” At the end of the teaser, Gerber’s character states: “There are so many wonderful ways to make people suffer." Yikes.

In addition to Gerber, Jackson and Bomer, the series will also feature Danny Trejo, Sierra McCormick, Kyle Reid Silverstein, Naomi Grossman, Aaron Tveit, Carol Lynch and Billie Lourd.

As we mentioned above, the award-winning screenwriter first announced the spinoff series last May, when he posted a photo from a Zoom call with actors from nearly all nine seasons of American Horror Story. Fifteen months later, all we have to say is finally.

American Horror Stories premieres on FX and Hulu Thursday, July 15.
