A Familiar Guest Host Has Returned to ‘Live’ (& Fans Are Thrilled)

We spotted a very familiar face on one of the latest episodes of Live with Kelly and Ryan. Ali Wentworth, who has offered her co-hosting talents to the talk show on numerous occasions, returned to the series once again amid Kelly Ripa's absence.

Wentworth's return was marked on the official Live Instagram account this past Friday, where they said, “Ali Wentworth is today’s guest cohost!” In the clip, which was taken from the beginning of the episode, the 57-year-old actress and TV personality enters the stage with Seacrest while sporting a blue-and-white dress. After taking a seat, Wentworth says, “Oh, it's hot! It's August 12th.” She also comments on the pine green color of Seacrest's suit, adding, “And Merry Christmas to you.”

Fans were thrilled to see Wentworth back on the Live set, like one viewer who commented, “She's great!!!! Such a wonderful and entertaining personality..... Funny, too!” Another added, “Ali’s the best.” Someone else wrote, “Love love love when Ali is on!!”

This isn't the first time we've seen Wentworth on Live this year. The In Living Color alum was a guest co-host back in May, when she helped Seacrest host a Mardi Gras-themed episode. Meanwhile, she also visited as a guest host in February of this year.

In the past couple of weeks, there have been a number of surprise co-hosts, including Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Lisa Rinna (Days of Our Lives), Katie Lowes (Scandal) and even Live's emcee Deja Vu took on the role.

It's always a pleasure to see you, Ali.
