It's official: Abigail Breslin and Ira Kunyansky are tying the knot.
On February 22, the Scream Queens actress confirmed the exciting news on Instagram by sharing a photo of her engagement ring, which features a sparkly, round-cut diamond with smaller stones lining the band (more on that in a sec). In the caption, Breslin wrote, "I was like, 'duh.' #engagedyall."
Kunyansky also gave fans a glimpse of the special occasion by sharing a trio of pics. In the first two, he's seen embracing the 25-year-old as she dons her new ring, and in the third, they appear to be dining ocean side at Geoffrey's Malibu—where he most likely popped the question. Kunyansky captioned the post, "She said YES!"
As for the ring, the center diamond appears to be about three carats, set on a platinum band to really make the pavé diamonds pop. “The ring is the perfect mix of classic and modern styles," says Jenny Luker, president of Platinum Guild International USA. While she didn't design the ring, she helped analyze its design, estimating its value at about $80,000. "A round center diamond is still the most popular type of engagement ring," she adds.
Breslin and Kunyansky have been dating since 2017, and one look at their IG feeds will tell you that their romance is the real deal. For instance, in honor of their four-year anniversary, Kunyansky shared a sweet tribute on IG, complete with a collage of their favorite moments together. He wrote, "Don’t know where I’d be without you baby! Happy 4 years together! Love you my angel." Meanwhile, Breslin posted a similar collage and wrote, "Happy 4 year anniversary my babekin. I love you so so so much my perfect [heart]."
Additionally, Breslin has been vocal about how supportive her fiancé has been following the loss of her father to Covid-19 in 2021. Just one month after the news was confirmed, she shared a pic with Kunyansky on her Instagram and wrote, "Thank you for making the past few weeks a lot easier by being the best boyfriend/best friend a gal could ask for. I love you."
Sounds like she's got herself a keeper.
