If you use social media, you’ve probably seen the viral VaBroom, which is a 2-in-1 broom and vacuum. The question is: Is it worth $80?

On the latest episode of Take My Money, PureWow creator Pascal reviewed the trending product to determine whether the VaBroom lives up to the hype.

In the episode (see above), Pascal introduced the VaBroom before testing it on three different messes: Styrofoam, rice and Goldfish. Her goal was to determine 1) how much it can sweep up and 2) how well it works.

“It’s a 2-in-1 sweeper that comes with a vacuum. I’ve never heard of this product before, I’ve never actually seen something like this,” she said.

Pascal admitted that she was impressed at first glance. “Right off the bat, I was surprised by the VaBroom because I thought it would be a lot heavier, considering the fact that it was a vacuum, as well,” she explained. “But it was actually super lightweight, which made it easier to sweep.”

While the broom function works as it should, Pascal noted that the vacuum struggled to pick up larger pieces and required a finger poke to unclog the nozzle. She even offered a pro tip: “One major note is to always make sure your mess is in a line because the nozzle is kinda small.”

She continued, “This clearly is a machine that takes a lot of patience.”

So, is the VaBroom worth $80? Watch the full episode above to find out. (Psst, it’s currently on sale at Amazon for $67.)
