If you love tea (or instant noodles), you’ve probably considered buying a portable kettle to heat up water on the go without the use of a stove or microwave. 

We’ve been obsessed with this cute one from Amazon, and after reading so many five-star rave reviews, we finally caved and decided to give it a try. On this brand-new episode of Take My Money, Kate (aka PureWow’s content creator) tests out the Sekaer Portable Kettle ($40; $32) in the color pink.in the color pink.

So is the portable gadget really worth the price tag? Keep reading to see Kate’s honest review.

Before testing out the portable kettle, Kate just had to take a moment to admire the color of the device. “I actually love the color of this,” she says in the video. And for those who may want to purchase the electric kettle in a different color, she points out to viewers that the product also comes in blue, white and green.

Upon first inspection, Kate noticed that the kettle might only be suitable for one serving. “This doesn’t seem like it would hold that much water, but I feel like this would be good for, kind of, a one-person [and] one-use situation,” she explains.
