I have a rather peculiar admission—I love to vacuum. In fact, if I could vacuum the entire house from top to bottom every day without being considered an unreasonable neat freak, I absolutely would. Which, of course, is why I won't be passing up this massive Amazon Prime Day deal (which ends tonight, July 17). The Dyson V8 Extra Cordless vacuum, renowned for its suction power and its *nine* accompanying tools to get every nook and cranny, is marked down to $350 from $470. And you shouldn't either, especially if you have dogs, cats or little children in the house. The lean, mean, cordless cleaning machine is on sale for $120 off during Prime Day right now.

The Dyson V8 Extra Cordless Cleaner vacuum features detangling technology that automatically clears any pet hair from the brush bar, as well as a powerful motorbar cleaning head and whole-machine filtration that purports to trap 99.99 percent of airborne particles. The impressive model even comes with a few more attachments to help you get the job done efficiently and thoroughly, like a mini soft dusting brush for delicate surfaces and fabrics, a stubborn dirt brush for caked-on messes, a mattress tool for cleaning your bed and an up-top tool and extension hose for getting into especially hard-to-reach places. Ah, music to my cleanliness-loving ears.

What’s more, the lightweight vac includes two different modes, powerful suction and max, which you can alternate between. Choosing the powerful suction mode means you’ll get up to 40 minutes of run time when using non-motorized tools, which should give you plenty of time to tackle all your pet messes and then some.

If you're still not sold on whether or not it lives up to the hype, just take it from those who have made the splurge. “After going through many different makes of vacuum cleaners, I have finally found one that works for the fur of our long-haired dog,” says one of the nearly 2,000 Amazon shoppers who have given the V8 Extra Cordless vacuum a rave 5-star review. “The first time I used my Dyson, it picked up handfuls of fur from areas that I thought were clean. The carpets look cleaner and hardwood floors pristine. Suction is strong even on the lower setting to make floors look like-new, [and] emptying the canister is as easy as could be. [Plus, the] battery life is sufficient to clean my small home.”

Yep, this baby sounds like an excellent addition to my cleaning closet—and yours. But we'll all have to act fast if we want to grab this anti-tangle, pet-hair-clearing pro for a total steal, because this Prime Day deal won't be available come tomorrow.
