Since this year has been a rough one, we’ve been fantasizing about an epic Thanksgiving menu for months now. But it turns out the closer we get to Thanksgiving, the less excited we feel about making a 10-course meal all by ourselves. Go figure. So, why not leave the cooking, baking and prepping to the pros this year so you’re free to watch the parade, fight with relatives and eat to your heart’s content? Presenting 15 places to order Thanksgiving takeout or delivery in LA this year.

Executive Chef Jonathan Portela’s family-style menu is not to be slept on. Is Thanksgiving all about the sides for you? We empathize. If you’re skipping the bird altogether (or convinced a relative to take care of that part…), order a ready-to-heat roundup of herbed gravy, sautéed kale, honey-lime yams, cranberry relish and more for curbside pickup from this Mexican-inspired eatery that’s famous for its cocktails. A 100-percent plant-based Thanksgiving smorgasbord? Don’t mind if we do. 9. The Cat And Fiddle Restaurant And Pub
Impress the pants off your relatives or friends with the bird and all the trimmings for $35 a head. The beauty here is that you can customize the menu for each person, so your sister can savor turkey with cornbread-dried fruit stuffing and baked sweet potato while your vegan cousin can opt for the nut roast Wellington, carrot mash and spicy Brussels sprouts. We’d be remiss not to mention the pumpkin walnut pie and maple cheesecake, too.
742 N. Highland Ave., Hollywood; 323-468-3800 or thecatandfiddle.com. Order by November 24.
10. Brizo
Most restos have one holiday menu with one price, which can lead to a lot of wasted food (and money) if most of your “guests” are your kids. Brizo has both an adult option for $49 each and a half-priced children’s Thanksgiving menu. You can savor salad, dessert and a main course of beer-brined turkey, gravy, pretzel stuffing (!!!) and more while the kids munch on turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and a slice of pie or apple crumble. The kids menu applies to children ages 10 and under.
4360 Via Marina, Marina del Rey; 310-439-2908 ext. 5807 or brizomdr.com. Order by phone by November 23.
11. Saddle Ranch Chop House
Before you know it, all that tryptophan will have you feeling nice and sleepy. So, make this the laziest holiday you’ve ever had by ordering your Thanksgiving meal through DoorDash or Grubhub. This destination restaurant, made famous by its mechanical bull, will be serving dishes like Caesar salad with fried capers and garlic cheese croutons, oven-roasted turkey with gravy, sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing and pie, to name a few.
8371 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood; 323-656-2007 or thesaddleranch.com. Call for more details.
12. Buca Di Beppo The Original Farmers Market
This chain is changing up their usual fare in honor of Thanksgiving with classic courses like sliced white meat turkey, homestyle gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. (Though the Italian flavor the eatery is known for shines through in the spicy Italian sausage stuffing.) You can order the food cold and reheat it yourself, or pick it up while it's hot and serve it as soon as you get home. Feasts for 3 to 6 and 10 to 20 people available.
6333 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles; 323-370-6560 or bucadibeppo.com. No deadline, but we recommend ordering ASAP.
13. Fig
If you have the turkey covered but are still floundering on the sides, don’t panic. Chef Jason Prendergast has put together a family-style meal full of locally-sourced, seasonal sides that are still available a la carte. And damn, do they sound delicious. Treat yourself to buttermilk crème fraiche and chive whipped potatoes, kale, honeynut and sage dressing, charred Brussels sprouts in onion cream, roasted sweet potatoes with winter spiced marshmallows and almonds and more. And yes, pumpkin pie is on the menu, too.
101 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica; 310-319-3111 or figsantamonica.com. Order sides by 6 pm on November 25.
14. Mírame
We love the creativity and theme of this Mexican joint’s Thanksgiving menu. Order yourself a pre-Hispanic Thanksgiving feast, which puts native Mexican ingredients and the restaurant’s fusion chops in the limelight. Your order (take-out or delivery) will include 10 to 12 pounds of organic pasture-raised turkey with chile chilaca adobo, a fall Caesar with roasted kabocha squash and pork chicharrones, corn grits, succotash and barbacoa beans. Finish the evening with a decadent cacao corn flan or pumpkin pie with masa crust and toasted malva marshmallow.

15. Urban Plates
There’s no shortage of options to sink your teeth into at Urban Plates, a spot that makes everything in house and uses sustainably-sourced ingredients. You can order a single-serve turkey plate for one, complete with mushroom stuffing and all the classic sides, or a turkey family meal, which has the same dishes but enough for four. If all you need are sides, mac and cheese, sweet potato mash and more are available a la carte by the quart. You can also place a group order with multiple people in different locations if you’re hosting a virtual dinner instead. If you’re hoping for a whole dessert (hellooo, pumpkin-walnut layer cake), be sure to reserve your order 24 hours in advance.
Multiple locations, Los Angeles; urbanplates.com. No deadline, but we recommend ordering ASAP.
