1. Chotto Matte

Japanese and Peruvian cuisine unite at Chotto Matte. The London-based restaurant offers a slate of unique Nikkei cuisine, blending traditional sushi plates with Peruvian ceviche and grilled items. Even better, this restaurant offers an atmosphere like no other, with an expansive, tropical-inspired dining room, fancy cocktails and a bustling late-night environment.

When everyone you’re with wants something a little different, that’s your cue to head to Lincoln Eatery. The food hall, which is the first of its kind for Lincoln Road, features more than a dozen different food and beverage stalls. (Burgers! Thai! Nitrogen ice cream!) With a bright and airy interior as well as outdoor seating, it’s a great spot for a morning bite or a full-fledged food tour at night.

3. Habitat Miami Beach

Right on the edge of Lincoln Road, Habitat sits at the heart of South Beach and also happens to have one of the most beautiful rooftops in town, so we’re game for any excuse to linger here. Casual eats like croquetas de jamón and a grouper sandwich rule the daytime menu, but come dinnertime, it’s all about sophisticated platings of octopus a la plancha and Skuna Bay salmon. And weekend brunch? We’ll take the French toast sticks and an avocado tartine topped with Manchego and pumpkin romesco.

This well-known “secret” above Lincoln Road serves arguably some of the best Asian-fusion food in town. Take in the panoramic views of South Beach while dining on seared tuna with caramelized onions and avocado, king crab risotto or Korean-marinated short ribs. Pair your plate with a side of tricolor quinoa. It’s as tasty as it is photo-worthy.

6. Lt Steak & Seafood

The steaks and seafood are always on point, but it’s the grilled Alaskan king crab poached in yuzu butter that has us craving this spot on the reg. Oh, and the short rib bao buns. And the hand-cut Parmesan fries drizzled in truffle aioli. Yeah, this place is good.

A list of the best Lincoln Road restaurants would be incomplete without a mention of this mainstay. Shake Shack serves up its signature line-up of burgers, fries and shakes here. Plus, there’s even a pup-friendly menu with ShackBurger biscuits and a peanut-butter custard.

8. Havana 1957

This Lincoln Road staple is known for its inviting atmosphere and vibrant menu of Cuban cuisine. With five locations (including four in South Beach!) this spot doesn’t get more popular—and it’s no surprise why. Order the signature Pollo Havana 1957, a Cuban family recipe of roasted chicken topped with Cuban gravy and served alongside white rice, black beans, roasted potatoes and sweet plantains. Don’t forget to pair it with one of more than a dozen mojito options. (We’ll never turn down the passion fruit version.)

9. Fuego Y Mar

On the eastern end of Lincoln Road, Fuego Y Mar features a Latin-inspired food and drink lineup from executive chef Anthony LePape. Besides the delicious eats, we love this restaurant because it sources a handful of ingredients from local growers, including Lake Meadow, Harpke Family Farm and Keez Beez honey.
