The vibrant colors. The signature sheen. The graceful proportions. Few home goods make us go weak at the knees like a Le Creuset Dutch oven.

Welp, as if right on cue, the heirloom cookware brand just introduced a gorgeous new color: Azure Blue. The vibrant, deep blue hue is inspired by the mineral azurite and looks as pretty as the Mediterranean sky on a clear day.

The new lineup includes an extensive range of Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware, stoneware, stockpots and kettles for everyday use, so you can go all out on a full set or just add a pop of color. After all, Azure will look just as at home paired with whites and neutrals as it will with the rest of the Le Creuset blues and cool tones.

If you’re not sure which piece is right for you, we can help: The round 4.5-quart Dutch oven is ideal for smaller households; the round 5.5-quart is an all-purpose workhorse and the 7.25-quart is big enough to handle brisket for a crowd. (For the record, we don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.) Pricing for the cookware starts at $190, and while it’s definitely an investment, don’t forget that you’ll be able to use this blue beauty for decades.

The cast iron collection is available starting today, September 1, at Sur La Table, Surlatable.com, Le Creuset Signature stores and LeCreuset.com, with the remaining pieces launching October 1. Plan your spurge accordingly.
