Make space on your bookshelf for Magnolia Table, Volume 3: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering. In a short Instagram video sharing the news, Gaines wrote, “I’ve learned that cooking can be about one of two things—obsessing over the finished product or enjoying the process. Because even more than the meal, it’s the moments they shape that are worth holding onto.”
With her first and second cookbooks, Gaines introduced readers to her favorite passed-down family recipes, as well as new dishes to feed her own brood. The third collection will contain a mix of both, all with the Joanna seal of approval. Expect everything from honey butter layered biscuits and bananas Foster pancakes to Brussels sprout Gruyere gratin and brownie cookies.
According to Gaines, this project was nearly three years in the making. Needless to say, our hopes are high. While you’ll have to wait until May 2 for the release date, at least you can preorder the cookbook now.
