Jennifer Garner Made Pizza for the Super Bowl (and It Looked Pretty Darn Delicious)

A fresh pie is always a touchdown

It’s no secret that actress and home-cook darling Jennifer Garner loves pizza. She first whipped it up in 2019 for an episode of Pretend Cooking Show, a casual Instagram series that shows her preparing food in her home. A few years later, she graced her fans with her pizza cracker recipe, which was equal parts questionable and intriguing. But I’m betting her latest pie, shown in a recent Instagram video, solicited nothing but drools from her fans.

“#NationalPizzaDay falling on Super Bowl Sunday. The perfect day doesn’t exi—” she captioned the video. The camera pans over what appear to be store-bought naan or flatbread. Then, Garner is shown adding tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, olive oil and some sort of salt or seasoning atop the crusts. She then transfers one pie to her ever-so-fancy pizza oven and a moment later, takes it out, revealing a melty, charred masterpiece.

Folks flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. “I’ll take 10!” Greg Grunberg, actor and Garner’s former Alias costar, wrote.

“Yum!!!! You could have invited us fans over…Maybe not. Do you have expandable walls for extra guests?” one follower joked.

“As [an] Italian from Naples, what can I say…well done,” another affirmed.

“If you want to try something different instead of putting tomato sauce on first, put some jalapeño and cheese dip on first. You can put tomato sauce on top of that and put what you like after. It’s great if you like a little heat,” another commenter suggested.

Let me write that one down…
