How to Order a Toasted Caramel Brulée Cold Brew from the Starbucks Secret Menu

toasted caramel brulee cold brew cat

By mid-November, we’ve had too many peppermint mochas and eggnog lattes to count. Once we heard about the Santa Claus Frappuccino, a holly-jolly gem on the Starbucks secret menu, we slurped that down in a few minutes flat, too. Next on the agenda: the Toasted Caramel Brulée Cold Brew.

Now, odds are you’re intimately familiar with the standard caramel brulée latte, made with espresso, steamed milk and rich, buttery caramel brulée sauce. It’s like a caramel latte with notes of smoky, burnt sugar. This iced number, courtesy of Totally the Bomb, is even toastier, thanks to being made with both caramel brulée and toasted white mocha syrups.

Start off by ordering a venti sweet cream cold foam cold brew with no vanilla syrup. Substitute the vanilla with two pumps each of toasted white mocha and caramel brulée. Ask the barista to blend two more pumps of caramel brulée into the sweet cream. Whipped cream and the crunchy caramel brulée topping are *technically* optional…but come on, it’s giving season. Treat yourself.

Since it’s a secret menu item, the barista likely will have no clue what you’re talking about if you order a toasted caramel brulée cold brew outright. So, be prepared to break down the instructions (and to pay extra for your modifications). Happy sipping!
