Courteney Cox Tackles Homemade Pizza in a New Instagram Video

Courteney Cox has already generously taught us how to make gluten-free biscotti, a five-ingredient baked chicken and lightened-up artichoke dip. Now, the Friends alum is showing us how she makes pizza at home. (You’d make homemade pizza too, if your home came complete with a pro-level outdoor pizza oven.) She recently shared an Instagram video of her latest culinary pursuit, and now we’re craving pizza too.

How To Make Courteney Cox’s Homemade Pizza

She captioned the post, “Pizza easier said than done,” but her final pie looks pretty tasty. Granted, Cox doesn’t share a written recipe in her Instagram post, but luckily, homemade pizza doesn’t really need a precise set of instructions (or even a built-in, wood-fired pizza oven). Here’s how to recreate your own version of the ’za at home, loosely based on her video.

Ingredients
Flour, for dusting
Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought—we like Trader Joe’s)
Pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella
Various toppings (she uses grilled onions, mushrooms and pepperoni

Directions
1. Preheat your oven as high as it will go with an inverted baking sheet inside. On a generously floured surface, roll or stretch the pizza dough into a thin, round crust.
2. Using a spoon, spread some pizza sauce onto the crust, leaving a small border around the edge of the dough.
3. Top the pizza with cheese and your desired toppings. Using oven mitts, carefully remove the hot sheet pan from the oven and transfer the pizza to the still inverted pan.
4. Bake until the pizza crust is deep golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
