6 Canned Cocktails We'll Be Sipping All Summer

It’s not an exaggeration to say that the news that Trader Joe’s would start selling canned wine changed the course of our summer. In the same boozy spirit, here are six more canned cocktails we highly recommend getting your hands on, like, now.

9 LaCroix Cocktail That Will Only Fuel Your Obsession

Hochstadter's Slow & Low

Well, isn’t this cute? Hochstadter’s Slow & Low are teeny 100-millileter cans of rock and rye, a dry, 84-proof combination of rye whiskey, raw honey, naval oranges and angostura bitters. Don’t be fooled by their petite size—these little guys are strong.

Cutwater Spirits Gin And Tonic

It’s hard to choose from Cutwater Spirits’ four canned cocktails (including a pretty killer Bloody Mary), but we’re going to have to side with the G&T, which is a slightly upgraded version of the classic, with grapefruit cucumber tonic. The flavor is bright, slightly citrusy and perfect for casually sipping in your (or anyone’s, really) backyard.

Pampelonne's Wine Cocktails

Low-calorie, low-carb, gluten-free and packaged in pink and purple neon stripes, Pampelonne’s wine cocktails indulge the most stereotypically girly parts of us, and we’re not mad about it. Among the offerings are a French 75, a rose-lime cocktail and—best of all—a blood-orange spritz. Need we say more? Grab a four-pack and get you to a beach.

Novo Fogo Sparkling Caipirinha

The Caipirinha is Brazil’s national cocktail—a simple, sweet and strong combination of cachaça (a distilled spirit made from fermented cane juice), sugar and lime. This canned version from Novo Fogo introduces sparkling water into the mix for a little carbonated twist. Crack open a can and pretend you’re in Rio with Gisele.

Punching Mule Moscow Mules

The Kentucky Derby is done for this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t continue to sip on these delightful vodka-ginger beer concoctions for the rest of the summer. Oh, and if you’re watching your sweets intake, they’re made with locally sourced beet sugar.

Can Can Cocktails' 120

A start-up out of Sacramento, Can Can Cocktails are the brainchild of Ryan Sanger, a bartender and artist who’s mixing his passions to create small-batch, all-natural drinks in fun graphic cans. We’re partial to the 120, a mix of vodka, raspberry, lemon, mint and soda, but the brand is also known for its White Linen, with vodka with cucumber, elderflower and lemon. Mmm, summer in a can.
