You’re a savvy Miamian who eats at the best restaurants and always knows what’s in style. But sometimes it helps to get a few professional recommendations. That’s why we tapped Miami chef Adrianne Calvo for her favorite spots in town (not including her own, of course). She’s actually in the midst of reopening the iconic Red Fish Grill, which will mark her fifth (!) restaurant. Before it opens in late October, here’s where we’ll be dining in the meantime.
When She’s Not Cooking, Here’s Where Miami Chef Adrianne Calvo Loves to Eat
Le Sirenuse
“This place is all about the setting. The elegance is next-level, the cocktails by Valentino Longo are top-notch and the pastas by chef Antonio Mermolia are symphonic. It’s unlike anywhere and anything else. (Psst: It’s perfect for date night.)”

Finka Table & Tap
“I love the Islas Canarias croquetas with one of the restaurant’s delicious cocktails. Whatever you do, make sure to order the refreshing Thai green papaya salad too.”

Fiola Miami
“It feels as though I’m dining in the Casablanca era or in a scene from The Great Gatsby. The only difference is I’m really, really enjoying my vongole.”

Lung Yai Thai Tapas
“I love the ‘one-time order’ concept (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you really have to go here) and the incredibly fast-paced deliciousness that’s full of bold flavors. If you grab a seat at the counter, it feels as though you’re watching the cooks in time-lapse, except you’re not, you’re actually there in real-time.”

Kyu
“They are the masters of the art refined. A rustic and bold cuisine (all focused on wood-fired Asian food), which is right up my alley.”
