Since she serves as both a royal fashion star and pro equestrian, it should come as no surprise that Zara Tindall slays on the sporty style front. This month, the athletic daughter of Princess Anne has been hitting the U.K. horse show circuit with one particular pair of sneakers in tow: the On Waterproof Cloud 5s (from $170). From the Hartpury International Horse Trials on Aug. 11 to the Wellington International Horse Trials on Aug. 26, Tindall was seen sporting the sneaks on repeat—whenever she wasn't stepping out in her riding boots, that is.

When it comes to comfortable-yet-chic sneakers, On is a favorite among me and my fellow PureWow editors. Earlier this year, I tested a similar model of the brand's kicks, the On Cloudmonsters ($170), and loved everything about them—from their cool look to their cushy step and serious arch support. As for the version that Tindall has been wearing, Rachel Gulmi, PureWow's operations director of branded content, says, "I have the classic Cloud 5 sneakers and I’ve loved those so much, I decided to get a second pair in a sportier style."

Boasting a molded heel design to hug your foot, along with the brand's signature ridged sole and CloudTec foam to provide cushioned landings, the On Waterproof Cloud 5 sneakers are a safe bet for active days, whether you're heading out for a run or a bike ride à la Tindall. They also come equipped with a speed-lacing system, which allows you to tighten the shoes without tying. Of course, the main draw of this style is the fact that it's finished with a waterproof membrane, which the brand says "keeps the elements out and lets feet breathe."

Since they clearly hold up in the drizzly English countryside on the royal athlete, I'd venture to guess that they can withstand all sorts of rainy outings on both sides of the pond this fall and winter. I, for one, am eager to give them a try—hey, what's one more pair in my On rotation?
