I had no doubt in my mind that our feeds would be bombarded by everything pink and green as the countdown to the Wicked movie release grew closer. (I mean, the selection of Wicked brand collabs alone could have me scrolling for days.) But what I wasn't expecting was for Galinda and Elphaba to be setting some fashion trends that even those of us beyond the land of Oz could embrace. Recently, both Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who star as Galinda and Elphaba respectively, have been donning all manner of bold, chunky chokers on the red carpet, and I, for one, can tell that this fashion statement's gonna be popular here in the real world this holiday season. So, like any good editor with an eye for accessorizing, I scanned the web for some bold and blingy chokers (like this floral pearl number from Revolve$299; $144) that will have you embracing Grande and Erivo's enchanting style sooner than you could click your ruby red heels.

To catch you up, both actresses stepped out donning their own versions of the statement-making neckwear for the Australian premiere of Wicked on Nov. 3. Grande wore a thin diamond strand choker that featured a massive glittering butterfly to pair with her pink puff-sleeve gown that perfectly suited her Galinda persona. Erivo, on the other hand, wore a thick black banded choker with a regal-looking lion pendant complete with a bejeweled pop of Elphaba's signature green. Even though she also rocked an awe-inspiring black evening gown, her choker definitely stole the show.

And Grande and Erivo aren't the only ones rocking the look. Heck, even Kim Kardashian recently incorporated the collared accessory into her look, having just appeared at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles whilst wearing Princess Diana's famed purple cross choker necklace in it's first public appearance since the royal's death in 1997. But don't worry, you don't have to spring for priceless archival pieces to stand out at all your holiday soirees—especially since I found four chic chokers to score now, starting at just $9.

Shop Big, Bold Chokers

Crafted with three strands of faux pearls and adorned with a crystal-embellished lily flower, this Ukrainian-made Santa Brands choker is giving major Blair Waldorf-meets-Galinda vibes. And I'm so into it.

If you ever wondered what kind of choker someone like Anne Boleyn would wear, this multi-strand 8 Other Reasons beauty would be it. Featuring a resin heart and dramatic cross pendant, this 24k gold-plated necklace is clearly fit for a queen.

Bring on the bling. J.Crew's chunky chainlink necklace is made from gold-plated brass, glass stone and a smattering of sparkling cubic zirconia. Simple yet eye-catching, this statement necklace will be the star of any outfit.

Throw things back to the '90s and early aughts with this threaded wraparound choker with a stunning crystal flower patch. It's Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion with a dash of Carrie Bradshaw, and will no doubt add a bold bit of flair to even the most minimalist ensembles.
