Many brands vary in make and quality, depending on the materials they use, so you may often find you usual size to be too big or too small. For example, swimsuits that use spandex will offer more stretch than those made entirely from nylon. I find customer reviews to be extremely helpful, as they’ll usually note how the swimwear fits. Then, use the reviews and size guide to help you make a decision on whether you should size up or down.
