This Site Is Like Rent the Runway but for Jewelry

Trust us when we tell you that we—along with a vast majority of our friends and coworkers—are Rent the Runway obsessives. There’s just something so fun and satisfying about turning our wardrobes into a revolving door of pieces we get to wear for a fraction of the retail price.

And while RTR does have a lovely jewelry section, we recently discovered another site that offers necklaces, rings, earrings and more exclusively. And you guys, these pieces are good.

Introducing Switch, a subscription-based service for high-end (read: showstopping) jewelry.

When you sign up, you can choose from one of three membership plans. The lowest level (Gold) gets you one piece at a time for $29 a month, while the middle level (Platinum) is two pieces for $49 a month and the highest (Black) is three pieces at a time for $69 a month.

You can keep your baubles for as long as you want or exchange often, if you’re the type to get bored quickly. Shipping and returns are both free as well. If you fall in love with a rented piece, there is an option to purchase it at a discounted price.

So what kind of jewelry are we talking? You can choose from a seriously amazing selection of iconic design houses (like Chanel and Hermès) as well as brands you see all over Instagram (like Rebecca de Ravenel and Vita Fede) and fashion-people faves (like Delfina Delettrez and Jacquie Aiche). 

After a quick scroll, we were ready to pull the trigger on a tiger pin from Gucci, a knot bracelet from Celine and vintage clip-on earrings from YSL.  

Basically, if you’re a luxury fashion enthusiast who gets bored with her collection often, we’re not sure why you haven’t signed up yet.
