While trends tend to come and go, it's looking like boho is here to stay. As we saw in fall of 2024, boho revival was top of mind on the runway and in the streets, with suede, sherpa, ruffles and tiered pieces like maxi skirts.

Simone Biles recently shared photos of herself on Instagram rocking not one, but two different boho elements on a trip with her husband Jonathan Owens to Capetown, South Africa: a white ruffled halter top and a white tiered maxi skirt. The pieces work together in tandem and function more or less as a sultry, boho-chic dress that most definitely makes me wanna go frolic in a field of flowers.

Biles' take on the trend features a white halter top with string ties and a teardrop cut out around the bust. The top is framed in trimmed ruffles that run down the bust and through the torso. She paired it with a light, multi-tier maxi skirt in the same white hue.

Boho revival and its tiered skirts are going to be a key feature in fashion throughout the spring and summer, and what better way to prep for the season and all the groovy moments to come than to refresh your wardrobe? Read ahead to shop these '70s inspired pieces.

This ruffled maxi adds a bit of seduction to any ensemble with its exaggerated thigh slit. Available in an additional five colors, the slip lined piece with its adjustable tie straps is perfect for a warm weather date-night.

Worn with a denim or leather jacket to dress it up or paired with a cozy sweater to dress it down, this loose and flowing three-tiered maxi dress is the epitome of boho. I'm talking layers for days.

Through Norma Kamali's innovative design, this convertible, tiered napkin dress features gentle waves on each layer and can be styled and tied into a halter similar to Biles' dress. It's giving romantic nights on the beach and I'm not mad about it.

Smocking + ruffles = boho heart eyes. This Free People top with its smocked bodice and off-the-shoulder ruffle sleeve is sweet in all the right ways. Keep the front tie undone for a more casual look or tie it up in a bow for some girlish flare.
