As a fashion editor I’m constantly getting emails about new fashion brands, some of which offer to send clothing samples so I can get a firsthand experience. In 2023, one such brand was Showpo. I was impressed with the vast range of styles they had onsite, as well as the fact that most of the Showpo brand items come in extended sizes, so I figured why not try it out? Cut to now and they’ve become a favorite for shopping cute everyday items that feel both simple and a little unexpected.
Showpo first launched in Australia in 2010, but didn’t become available in the U.S. until 2023. And while it carries other brands, like Lioness, SNDYS and 4th + Reckless (which you may recognize from Revolve or Shopbop), my favorite pieces are definitely Showpo’s in-house line, specifically the dresses. Seriously, I think I wear this linen maxi ($70) at least once a week in the summer, but there are also a ton of incredibly fun wedding guest dresses and frocks for bachelorette parties or fun nights out. And not only do almost all of these pieces come in extended sizing (US 0 to 16), there are also photos of the pieces on women of various sizes. So for someone like me, who wears a size 10 or 12 at Showpo, I can get a better sense of how that adorable vest-and-skirt set I’ve been eyeing will look on someone closer to my size.
Many of Showpo’s designs have an elevated-yet-relaxed vibe, making it easy to see why so many celebs have since become fans as well. Who doesn’t want to look effortlessly chic, especially if you’re being photographed everywhere you go? J.Lo has been spotted in a cute pair of linen trousers with a coordinating smocked crop top (unfortunately currently sold out, but fingers crossed for a restock) that I easily could have mistaken for Reformation. And Daddario was seen at the U.S. Open in 2023 and in Rome in 2024 wearing a chic halter midi dress that gives me major Ulla Johnson vibes.
As for pricing, Showpo’s selection tops out at $200 for more intricate gowns and detailed coats, with the vast majority of their pieces ringing in under $100. The site even shows you which sizes are in stock as you scroll through the pages, so you don’t risk clicking over to something that made your heart sing only to find it’s sold out in your size. Speaking of sizing, I find Showpo typically fits true to size, but do recommend double checking the size chart for any given item.

It has a hidden side zipper, and the shoulders can be adjusted to drape off either side, and can even be knotted tighter or looser to better fit your frame. Union chose this gorgeous flower-adorned slip dress for a 2024 Summer Olympics event, immediately inspiring me to up my date-night ensembles ASAP. It also comes in green and white (calling all future brides), all of which feature adjustable straps and that stunning flowy maxi silhouette.

These high-waist jeans don’t just look good, they also fit incredibly well, especially for gals with long legs. The wide leg has the ideal amount of volume—not so much that it reads like a costume, nor too skinny so it looks like a flare—and numerous reviewers say they felt the silhouette made them look taller.

Something about this bodysuit—maybe the sheer arms, maybe the off-the-shoulder neckline—makes it feel like something Kristen Bell’s character from Nobody Wants This would wear. The vest-inspired top of this two-piece set is oh-so trendy right now, and can just as easily be worn over jeans for lunch with friends or wide-leg trousers for a day at the office. A timeless trench coat is never a bad idea, and despite the fact that this beauty costs under $150, it certainly doesn’t skip out on the details. The belted cuffs in particularly make this jacket look far more expensive than it really is, as do the tortoise buttons and vented back. Reviewers note this style runs large, but if you plan to layer thicker knits underneath, I recommend sticking with your usual size.
