It's no secret that Reese Witherspoon is always on trend. While it was her metallic shoes that we saw her rock mid-summer in 2024 and her sweater shirts in the fall last year, I'm now delighted to see that she recently donned a Fair Isle-style sweater on Instagram while promoting a new Reese's Book Club pick, The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan ($28; $26) . Though they are trendy in their own right, they're also beloved by royals and actresses alike. Think: Katie Holmes and Kate Middleton.
And what's wonderful about Fair Isle sweaters is that the style falls somewhere in between the après-ski glam aesthetic that we saw while exiting 2024 and the fisherman aesthetic that we've seen while entering 2025.
