It's no secret that Reese Witherspoon is always on trend. While it was her metallic shoes that we saw her rock mid-summer in 2024 and her sweater shirts in the fall last year, I'm now delighted to see that she recently donned a Fair Isle-style sweater on Instagram while promoting a new Reese's Book Club pick, The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan ($28; $26) . Though they are trendy in their own right, they're also beloved by royals and actresses alike. Think: Katie Holmes and Kate Middleton.

And what's wonderful about Fair Isle sweaters is that the style falls somewhere in between the après-ski glam aesthetic that we saw while exiting 2024 and the fisherman aesthetic that we've seen while entering 2025. A gorgeous blend of cozy and chic, Fair Isle sweaters are timeless and classic, so it's no wonder that Reese has been loving the quintessential knit. And lucky for us, I was able to source her exact piece which just so happens to be the Fairisle Crewneck Sweater ($148; $128) from the actress's own brand, Draper James. (Plus, it's on sale!!)

This white and blue nylon and wool blend sweater is perfect for the cold winter months as we kick off the new year. With repeating diamond patterns around the collar of the shirt, the design is almost reminiscent of icicles that you find in the days after a big storm. It also features a beautiful cable-knit pattern on the arms and body of the sweater. And petite reviewers mention that the fit is ideal for those with short torsos. Whether you wear it out during the day with jeans or a skirt and tights or opt to stay warm inside by the fire, this is going to be one of the closet staples. Personally, I'd be lighting a candle, grabbing a blanket, snuggling up on the couch and cracking open a copy of The Three Lives of Cate Kay.
