Quinta Brunson Pulled a Meghan Markle with Her Monochrome Look—But Let's Talk About Those *Boots*

Last week, Quinta Brunson attended Warner Bros. Television Group's Fall TV Season Celebration at Nya Studios rocking the chicest brown monochrome 'fit and she reminded us of another monochromatic maven—Meghan Markle.
According to Essence, Brunson was wearing a stunning dress by Ronny Kobo. The ensemble featured a fitted sleeveless upper with a loose mock neck which cascaded into a ruched asymmetrical bottom with a side slit. (If you're looking to splurge, I found the exact dress, $498, on Bloomingdale's site.) Brunson's look instantly brought me back to December of 2023 when Meghan Markle wore a monochromatic suit to a tastemakers panel in California. But the Abbott Elementary star merged the monochromatic 'fit with one of the most notable fall trends—knee high boots. Remember that burgundy thigh-high pair that Taylor Swift rocked to the Chiefs game? Well, Brunson took note and paired her brown dress with equally spectacular knee high chocolate boots from Larroudé ($500) (similar from DSW here, $70) that added some extra spice to her look as they could be seen through the slit in her dress.

Though burgundy footwear is what's tracking for fall, I loved Brunson's thoughtful take on the fall trend by swapping out the color for something bold and coordinated. I also managed to find a handful of lookalikes to shop.

And there's something extra special about the '+' detailing in the middle of the boot for some visual interest.
