It's hard not to imagine British royals looking perfectly styled when they crawl out of bed, so it comes as no surprise that they can totally kill it on the red carpet, too. Earlier this week, Princess Beatrice, 35, made a rare red carpet appearance with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 39, at the Art of Wishes Gala 2023, where she stunned in a baby blue sheer lace dress from Self-Portrait.
Princess Beatrice Just Hit the Red Carpet in a Sheer Lace Dress—and She Looked Stunning
We give this dress an A+
According to the Royal Fashion Police Instagram account, the princess paired the intricate design with a matching pair of heels from Ralph & Russo (the Empire pale blue suede pumps, to be exact). She layered the gown underneath a ‘Zeta’ cropped jacket from Alice + Olivia and carried the Postbox Lizard-Effect leather clutch from Anya Hindmarch ($1,435).
While the Self-Portrait dress is sadly sold out online, you can still find very similar designs from the brand, like this floral lace cotton midi dress ($431) or this thrifted near-identical gown that differs mainly in its square neckline and bow-shaped belt ($268).
Princess Beatrice has been on a floral streak lately, wearing flower-covered gowns to events like the Inauguration of the OWO Whitehall hotel and the “Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto” show at The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, both in September.
We would also be remiss not to highlight her look from the Vogue World: London event. For the fashion extravaganza, Princess Beatrice sported a black midi dress and matching gloves designed by Richard Quinn, which were adorned with a pattern of yellow flowers.
Beatrice, your style game never disappoints.
