Kate Spade. Longchamp. Coach. Handbags from these and tons of other fan-favorite brands are up to 65 percent off during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale designer handbag edit.

To access these bargains now, you’ll need to have a Nordstrom credit card or be a member of the Nordy Club. (It’s free to join, and card holders are automatically enrolled.) The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is worth checking out ASAP, and since inventory on these treasures is limited, you’ll want to shop early (ahem, today). The sale begins July 9 and ends August 4, with the event available to cardmembers a few days before the general public. Here’s when you can shop:

  • Icons: Shop from July 9 through July 14
  • Ambassadors: Shop from July 10 through July 14
  • Influencers: Shop from July 11 through July 14
  • Everyone (including non-members): Shop from July 15 through August 4

Here are the bags I’ve singled out as totally worth it—investment items even at full price—but on sale, they’re too good not to add to cart. I’m talking about the Coach Chelsea Bag (was $295, now $197), Longchamp’s classic Le Pliage tote (was $155, now $116) and the Kate Spade Carlyle tote (was $348, now$230), just for starters.

And remember—you can’t beat Nordstrom’s shipping and return policy. Enjoy free standard shipping—the estimated delivery date is noted on the product page and at checkout. And returns are free in store or by mail—just print a label at home or show your QR code at a USPS or FedEx location.

I’m a Fashion Editor & These Are My Top Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Longchamp’s iconic Le Pliage is indispensable for chic travel, whether you’re commuting to the office or jetting off on vacation. I’ve had mine for years and as a tote bag enthusiast, I confidently say this is one of the most versatile bags in my closet. The leather-trimmed nylon tote is on sale in a cheerful pomegranate shade, is water-resistant and folds flat in your luggage. This iteration is also *expandable,* making it a lifesaver when you’ve done more international shopping than originally planned and are pressed for space.

2. Kate Spade Bleecker Crossbody

Kate Spade New York

Crossbody bags are one of my favorites for storing essentials hands-free, and you can always trust Kate Spade to deliver a classic bag you’ll be wearing for years to come. The New York-based brand’s leather Bleecker crossbody is on sale in two colors, bungalow and crepe pink. Though the design is simple, don’t be deceived. The structured silhouette provides a polished look and is, according to buyers, quite spacious given its size. There are also two pockets: one zippered interior compartment and a front pocket that fits your phone.

With the explosion of its iconic Tabby bag last year, it’s safe to say Coach is dominating the handbag landscape. At this year’s Nordstrom anniversary sale, you can score another cutie, the pebble leathered Chelsea, for nearly $100 off. It comes in three colors: black, chalk and saddle, with gold hardware. There are two handles (top and detachable crossbody) that allow you to dress the bag up or down, and an interior card slot to hold the essentials.

At PureWow, we can’t get enough of anything Béis makes—Wellness Director Sarah Stiefvater has reviewed the brand three times. (The Weekender, Carry-On and The Weekender vs. Calpak.) Here’s your chance to scoop up the Commuter duffle, which is slightly longer than The Weekender and great for a three- or four-day summer (or fall) trip. It comes in a cheerful pastel shade of Atlas Pink with top handles and a removable, adjustable crossbody strap. As with any good travel bag, there are pockets galore: side slips, exterior front zip, interior wall pocket, zip pocket and a mesh pocket to keep every trinket organized. There’s also a trolley sleeve so you can balance it on your suitcase with ease.

Because the Longchamp Le Pliage is my most-used handbag, I was thrilled when they launched their sustainability initiative, designing their iconic tote with recycled materials. This one’s on sale in Antique Pink, which is a pretty dusty rose that’ll pair well with any color or pattern. Though made from recycled nylon, the bag still retains all its signature design elements: leather trim, top-carry handles and a dainty interior pocket. At less than $120, it’s honestly a steal.

Summer is high wedding season, and after you’ve found the perfect wedding guest dress and a pair of comfortable shoes for dancing, you’ll need a bag to tie the outfit together. This glittery bucket bag is on sale for less under $100, and seeing as silver is the color du moment (at least in New York), you can’t go wrong here. There’s also a sparkling black iteration for a high-glam moment. With a fun tassel that adds movement, a tiny pocket, removable straps and a drawstring closure, this Olga Berg design screams fun, fun, fun.

A leather tote is a staple in every gal’s closet—just ask Katie Holmes, who is often photographed with her ubiquitous Mansur Gavriel tote. However, if you’re unwilling to shell out $800 for a bag, Kate Spade has a great alternative under $250. The Carlyle tote is available in black and camel, with two interior pockets and zip pocket divider. A generous strap drop means you can easily swing it over your shoulder, and little metal feet on the base protect it from any questionably sticky surfaces.

JW Pei is the surprisingly affordable celebrity darling, loved by the likes of Selena Gomez. The Abacus top-handle bag is another formal, glittering option for your black tie events this season—and it’s under $100. The handle cutout lends the bag its playful name, and the structured look will elevate even the most casual sundress.

You may know Dagne Dover for its famous Dakota backpack, but this toiletry bag is an unsung hero, if you ask me. I’ve been using it for almost a year, and of all the toiletry bags I’ve tried as a lifestyle editor, this is probably my favorite. It’s plush but structured, keeping products upright thanks to the handy (but removable) organizational insert. There are plenty of elastic loops for makeup brushes and a top mesh zipper pocket for trinkets (lip glosses, in my case). I love that it’s spacious but doesn’t take up a ton of room, and I can always get away with squeezing one last thing in, with room to spare. Cherry on top: It’s made from recycled plastic.

Not a handbag person but still want something polished in which to tote your belongings? Snap up this Cole Haan leather backpack, which also transforms into a crossbody and tote bag if you end up changing your mind. There are pockets galore, plus a trolley sleeve so you can take it on your travels, too.

If you’re not a Longchamp fan already (though chances are that you are, since PureWow readers love these coated polyamide canvas bags), you will be once you see this new ultra-small iteration of the popular leather-trim, foldable bags. You’ll wear the heck out of this bag, which is on sale in classic black. Mark my words, you’ll be pairing it with everything in your closet.

12. JW Pei Joy Bag

JW Pei

J.Lo carried a similar handbag earlier this year, and PureWow Fashion Editor Abby Hepworth immediately zeroed in on JW Pei’s Joy bag as a spot-on alternative. With an architectural silhouette, it’s got that ‘90s look that’s presently all the rage. The strap can drop into a crossbody, and the magnetic closure opens to reveal an interior wall pocket and ample room for all your trinkets.
