Markle’s gorgeous, maxi-length puffer is actually the Mackage Calina Maxi Coat and costs $1,250. While not exactly affordable, the coat is incredibly highly reviewed and is apparently comparable to, and marginally less expensive than, Canada Goose. I wouldn’t have thought a long white puffer could look quite this good—the risk of turning into the Michelin Man is very high—but this impressive style has a few key details that help ensure you both stay warm and look fabulous.

Despite having enough recycled down to keep you toasty even in single digit temperatures, the Calina coat has a fairly streamlined silhouette. The included matching belt also helps cinch your waist so your figure doesn’t get lost in all that cozy baffling, although the coat itself also has a slight A-line shape even if you skip the belt. The hood is also fully adjustable, with two drawstrings on either side of the collar. The pockets are lined for extra coziness, and the cuffs are made of a water-resistant knit that’s both comfy and functional.
Mackage coats do not come cheap, but according to reviews, they’re built to last a lifetime, and truly live up to the hype. “I cannot say enough good things about this coat,” raves one 5-star reviewer. “I own two other Mackage coats and they have lasted me over 10-plus years, so I knew purchasing this was an investment, but will last me for years to come.
