To brave the Canadian chill, the duchess pulled on the Hat Attack cashmere slouchy cuff hat ($87). (It’s also available on Amazon for $83, but not in black.) Sure, the price tag is a little (OK, a lot) higher than the average beanie, but YOLO, right? Markle appears to have selected the black option. But it also comes in navy, light grey, charcoal, nude, burgundy, taupe and ivory, so you can indulge your cashmere-hat needs with any outfit. The luxe topper can be worn cuffed or slouchy, à la Megs, and is also available with a real fur pom if you’re feeling super extra.
In addition to her beanie, Markle wore Finlay & Co. Percy sunglasses ($131) in black for the occasion. Interestingly, she donned a light tortoiseshell version of the specs when she and Prince Harry first made their public debut as a couple at the 2016 Invictus Games in Toronto.
She completed the look with a black parka featuring Sherpa lining, a big smile and her Range Rover.
All in all, it seems the Duchess of Sussex is readjusting to life in Canada quite nicely. Our only question: Why not make Dorak take a Lyft and skip a dreaded trip to the airport?
