We've long touted lululemon as one of our favorite athleticwear brands, and our love for the company only grew with the release of its first shoe. Now, the brand is at it again, having dropped its second-ever women's lululemon shoe, the Chargefeel, on July 26, and it's a hybrid sneaker that offers optimal support for running and training like a pro.
While we fully expected that it would be just as impressive as lulu's first shoe release, we weren't expecting this second pair to be so functional. Featuring a dual-density foam midsole, it's designed with a top layer that aims to protect your feet from impact as you move and a bottom layer that's meant to give you that smooth bounce off the ground you'll need for running.
Besides functionality, lululemon says the sneakers have an unparalleled fit thanks to their unique design, which took more than 30 footwear experts with two centuries of combined experience in the industry four years to develop. Their insights also aimed to ensure these shoes would hold up during every kind of workout, from dancing to boxing.
In other words, from the sounds of it, lululemon's newest Chargefeel sneaker will be the only shoe we want to run, walk, hike and skip in.
