Chances are, you’ve probably spotted a pair of Lexxola glasses on your TikTok For You Page. The name doesn’t ring a bell? That’s okay, because it’s the design of these glasses that stands out: The most ubiquitous style features a bold Mazzucchelli plant-based acetate frame and lenses in sunny shades of yellow, orange or sky blue. They’ve been worn by everyone’s fave chronicler of Rich Moms and Erewhon, Tinx, YouTuber Emma Chamberlain has sported a few different pairs, and even model Kaia Gerber matched her pooch in Lexxola.
So, naturally, they are the glasses to wear this summer. And before you ask, yes, those colored lenses do provide 100% UVA and UVB protection, just like your go-to pair of black sunglasses. They just look way cooler.
The Lexxola brand, which was founded in 2019 by Zane Saleh, is also rather mindful when it comes to sustainability. “Lexxola products are produced in factories fuelled by renewable energy, distributed from LED-lit warehouses, and transported via eco-integrated carriers, making clean logistics a reality,” the brand tells PureWow, adding that one percent of annual sales are donated to 1% For The Planet Organization.
Plus, they rely on customer feedback to roll out each new design, looking at what shoppers are in need of and what they’d actually wear. Which explains why Lexxola just added the Ally to its lineup; these modern cat-eyes come with black or brown lenses, so you don’t have to try out the colored lens trend if you’re not feeling it.
