We Tried 3 Best-Selling Skims Products—Here’s Our Honest Review

Are you wondering if Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, Skims, is really worth the money? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

PureWow just launched an all-new YouTube Series, titled Testing TikTok, where Creator Kate Kesselman reviews products that are trending on social media. In the first episode, Kate tried three best-selling Skims products and shared her thoughts on the fit, durability and value. Keep scrolling for details on each piece.

1. Sculpting Bodysuit with Snaps

Upon first glance, Kate is baffled by how small it is. “I don’t know how I’m going to transform into a toddler to fit into this,” she jokes. “Look at the butt! It’s cute because it almost looks like a baby’s butt.”

After trying it on, Kate explains that it’s “soft” and “smooth” but extremely fitted. “Was it tough? Yes. Was I fighting for my life? Slightly. Can I breathe? Somewhat,” she says. “It’s tight, but the longer I’m keeping it on, the more I’m getting used to it.”

2. Sculpting Short Mid-Thigh Shapewear

When compared to equivalent shapewear, the Skims version seems much smaller. However, it does have a grip band around the midsection to hold it in place. “It snatched my waist,” Kate says. “I’ve never felt so curvy in my life.”

3. Sculpting Bralette

Kate notes that it’s incredibly supportive, but it’s probably unnecessary for women with smaller chests. “If you have a bigger chest, this would honestly be perfect for you because the band is so tight, it feels like nothing can move,” she explains. “But if you have a smaller chest, I don’t even know if you need this much support.”
