This holiday season, presents won't be the only thing wrapped up in bows. We previously introduced you to the bow front cardigan as one of winter's biggest trends and we don't see this dainty, coquettish embellishment exiting any time soon. It's like the cold weather version of Carrie Bradshaw's signature bloom. That being said, I've been seeing bows of all shapes and sizes make appearances on the red carpet, including on Katie Holmes at the CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards on Monday night. So I rounded up a couple of bow-centric picks to shop—like this Hyacinth House Beaded Bows Bernadette Mini Dress ($198). Just consider it a little gift to yourself.

When Holmes walked the red carpet, she did so in a long-sleeved Carolina Herrera gown with angular cut outs at the waist. The top half of the garment was a bright poppy pink, while the skirt portion was a vibrant cherry tomato red (also trending RN!), but the most unexpected part of the look was a long and simple black bow with tails that trailed down her back. She paired the statement dress with a pair of pink ombre jeweled earrings and a black clutch. It was delightfully unassuming for Holmes, as the First Daughter actress is usually spotted in casual 'fits while popping around town.

This Show Me Your Mumu color block mini dress makes sure its bow detailing is front and center. The sateen fabric and swishy shape make it the perfect statement cocktail dress. Its pink and red dual tone color scheme really channels Katie Holmes and what's even better is that it has pockets. Wear it for the holidays or save it for Valentine's Day to impress that special someone.

If Kate Middleton hopped on the bow trend, I feel like this is how she would wear it. The simple black short-sleeved shift dress is instantly elevated with the addition of sparkling beaded bow appliqués down the center front. Shoppers comment on how easy it is to take this dress from day to night by pairing the piece with sheer tights and a pair of pumps. And it runs true to size (!!).

A fitted black maxi dress with an elegant white bow? Yes, please. This Lulu's gown will have you feeling your best whether that's at an elegant holiday party or even a chilly winter wedding. The dress also lets you show a little bit of skin with its strapless neckline and center slit in the back. Throw on a pair of chunky hoops and a kitten heel and you're golden.

You are the present in this long bell-sleeved fitted mini dress from ASOS. Its deep red hue and large back bow resemble the ornate packages you can find hiding under the tree. With a plunging V-neck in the back of the garment and a higher rounded neck in the front, you'll be taking the phrase "Business in the front and party in the back" all the way to the North Pole.
