Of course it’s French, too

It appears we’re not the only ones obsessed with French fashion and style. Kate Middleton has been a quiet fan of that certain je ne sais quoi for years, wearing several pieces of jewelry from French clothing brand Sézane at various royal outings.

Notably known for their chic trench coats and fluffy sweaters, Sézane also makes earrings for the both the minimalist and maximalist. In fact, the Princess of Wales, 43, has been collecting Sézane’s baubles for many years now, and has often been seen wearing a few of them multiple times. One of my favorite pieces she wore was on a visit to Jamaica back in March 2022.

Sézane

They were a pair of dainty mother of pearl drop earrings secured in a delicate gold setting that, unfortunately, are no longer sold on the site, but I did find two lookalikes that I bet Middleton would love. First are the Charlotte earrings ($55), a dainty set that features a removable pearl bead on either set, giving you two looks in one—and the name is simply kismet, if you ask me.

There’s also the resin Joao earrings ($65), which boast a stunning marbling effect that looks similar to the luster of Middleton’s pearl piece.

While many of the styles the Princess has been seen wearing are no longer sold on the brand’s website, I found three additional pieces for you to shop from Sézane that look similar to items in the royal’s jewelry collection.

One of the most memorable pieces Middleton wore was a pair of brand’s cobalt blue Charlie earrings. While the exact pair are no longer sold, the acetate Sandy earrings are just as striking and unique, giving you that bright pop of color when you need it. Take a page out of the royal’s style book and pair yours with a dress in the same color.

During a visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum back in 2021, the Princess was seen donning a pair of gold hoop earrings from Sézane quite similar to the pair above. The gold-plated rings are set with mostly recycled brass, and make an ideal option to wear every day for its lightweight quality and versatile styling.

Another set that the royal loves is her gold and blue Dina earrings, which boast a gold pendant with dangling gemstone tassels. While this resin number is certainly different, it does have details that remind me of Middleton. From the gold-plated pewter to the free-hanging resin pieces attached below, these earrings are certainly unique enough for the royal-inspired jewelry collection.
