But there’s another detail worth calling out about this style: Kate’s younger sister Pippa Middleton owns one, too. She carried the exact same style—in a candy-colored red ($440)—to an event hosted by the British Heart Foundation in December last year.
So, why is this particular clutch so beloved by the Middleton clan? Well, for one thing, it’s quite versatile, especially given the color range. Made from high-quality suede and handcrafted in Portugal, it also features an interior zip pocket and is sized big enough to fit the essentials—key, phone, lip color, cash—required for an elegant evening out. (Not that the future Queen of England necessarily needs to carry any of that.)
More than anything, the Emmy London ‘Natasha’ clutch feels polished, yet effortless: It’s the type of bag that you can dress up or down. (We also love that it comes with a detachable gold and leather chain strap—although we haven’t noticed Kate or Pippa wearing it that way so far.)
