1. Dainty Ear Chains
Tragus piercings were all the rave this year, so take it up a notch by adding a dainty ear chain to the mix. As Teichman shares, “Chains add texture and dimension to any good ear story, making them a versatile and edgy choice. While chains have always been a staple in jewelry, the current irritation plays with size, material and layering technique.” If you’re sporting multiple piercings (like me), this bold accessory is going to be a great addition to your ear stack.

2. Diamond Earrings
Diamonds are indeed a girl’s best friend, and Teichman predicts earrings—studs and hoops specifically—will be the most requested item to buy in 2025. “Diamonds, simply put, are forever. The look of small diamonds that accentuates their wearer’s anatomy is both chic and bold. Everyone seems to be rocking diamonds in multiple piercings these days.” The most notable example is Cynthia Erivo, who is always rocking a stud (or two) to complement her exquisite gowns and impressive manicure during her recent red carpet appearances.

3. Statement Pearls
Who said you had to stick to just gold or strictly silver pieces? In 2024, we’re mixing up our metals. “For years, we’ve operated on this idea that metals should match. While this still remains true for most people when they’re selecting what jewelry to wear, we’re seeing the fashion industry really embrace the idea that mixing metals can create a dynamic and stylish look,” says Shultz. “The blend of warm and cool tones complements a range of outfits, plus it creates an endless amount of stacking and layering options.” So, don’t be afraid to rock gold earrings with your sterling silver necklace. There’s also the option of dabbling in another trend: two-tone jewelry that blends both materials together into one distinct piece for you.

4. Stacked Bracelets
Asymmetrical ear stacks were huge this year, and everyone loves layering necklaces, but the experts predict donning multiple bracelets are going to be the new wave. I also like to think the friendship bracelet phenomenon has a lot to do with it, but here’s what Shultz has to say about the growing trend: “Stacked bangles are making a comeback with a fresh and modern appeal. I love how this trend embraces a mix of sizes, styles and metals to showcase individuality and versatility. Whether you’re dressing up for a formal occasion or keeping it casual, stacked bangles can add a sophisticated and chic touch to any outfit.”

5. Bold Metals
With metallic nails and fashion pieces becoming super popular in 2024, it only makes sense to see jewelry jumping on the trend train, too. Shultz notes, “Bold metals are very versatile. They can be worn alone as an eye-catching statement piece or paired with other accessories to create a cohesive look. Plus, the revival of bold metals from the 1980s, combined with the resurgence of flashy accessories from the 2000s has reignited this trend. It’s simply a unique blend of elegance and edginess.” There’s honestly no right or wrong way to rock metals. Try out a gold and silver combo as cuffs, teardrop earrings or layered necklaces.

6. Initial Necklaces
I like to think High School Musical’s Gabrielle Montez was ahead of her time when she started sporting T for Troy back in 2006. (Though I really should give props to Anne Boleyn, who’s famous for sporting a pearl ‘B’ pendant around her neck way before Y2K fashion took reign.) Regardless where the popularity for initial necklaces came to be, the experts believe it’ll be a staple accessory next year. “A piece of jewelry with your initials or the initials of a loved one is a fun way to personalize your look. Sometimes I wear my own, other times I wear my husband’s initials. It really all depends on how I’m feeling that day,” shares Sachse. From Hailey Bieber to Kate Middleton, celebs are showing off their own names, favorite sports teams or even a nod to their children.

7. Personalized Charms
Personalized charms surged in popularity in 2023 and it is not stopping its momentum anytime soon. “Charms allow you to be the designer of your own piece! Whether you want to personalize your necklace with a zodiac pendant or add a diamond butterfly charm to hang on your huggies, the charms keep things versatile and fun,” says Sachse. “It’s making a comeback in a fresh new way. When I was younger, I loved collecting charms that held a special memory for me and it’s just as fun today.”
