Finding a high heel that’s comfortable, cute and affordable is about as hard as getting into Harvard, waiting for the new season of GOT or applying liquid eyeliner the same way on both eyes. (We’ve done the research, trust.)
So when Everlane came out with their ballet-flat-inspired Day Heel back in April, women responded appropriately—by practically crashing the website. The shoes sold out in 24 hours and have since amassed a 28,000 person waitlist.
Luckily, good things come to those that wait. As of Monday, June 19, 1,000 pairs of the $145 heel are available for purchase on Everlane’s website. The breakdown of the inventory is as follows: 500 black, 250 red and 250 neutral suede, all in a wide variety of sizes (although the brand won’t share just how many of each size will be available).
No time has been announced, but anyone on the waitlist will get notified via email and the shoes will go to the first 1,000 who get those bad boys in their cart. In other words, keep your tabs open.
