When online shopping became my actual job (yes, it’s a total dream), I found myself buying less—because I just couldn’t decide what to spend my money on. Now, when I do make a purchase, I put a lot of thought into it: How often will I wear it? How many different outfits can I get out of it? Is it worth the price? And so on.

But there’s one store where I simply lose all self-control: Everlane. Their prices are honest and affordable, the quality is top-notch and everything fits seamlessly into my minimalist wardrobe. And yes, that includes these nine can’t-live-without-it pieces currently in my shopping cart.

I’m a Fashion Editor Here’s What I’m Buying for Fall

everlane alpaca cardigan 2

1. The Cropped Alpaca Cardigan

This knit is lightweight, soft and cozy enough to make any Monday at my desk feel kind of like I’m still bingeing Netflix on a Sunday afternoon. I got this exact sweater in the pullover version last fall, and I wore it approximately 100 times, so I know this cardigan version will get even more wear.

2. The Cashmere Tee

Hi, my name is Brianna, and I only wear cashmere now. No, really. If it’s cashmere, I’m buying it. This t-shirt will be perfect for a little extra warmth on chilly days—without making me deviate from my usual jeans-and-a-tee uniform.

3. The Oversized Double-breasted Blazer

I’ve been searching high and low for an oversize blazer since July. I managed to snag a pink linen version on Amazon this summer, but obviously I need a plaid iteration for fall. And just like that, Everlane shot an email into my inbox the other day featuring this perfect retro style. I’ll take it in brown, pretty please.

4. The Western Boot

While everyone has his or her sight set on the Glove Boots, I’ll also be snagging this western style. They’re not overly cowboy-ish but are still a nod to the Western trend—and the heel is just high enough to wear to and from work.

everlane square turtleneck 2

5. The Cashmere Square Turtleneck

Because sometimes you just don’t want to wear a giant blanket scarf, but also don’t want to be freezing. A turtleneck solves that issue and also looks super chic. I like that the neck of this sweater is a nice in-between length—no awkward rolling or bunching fabric here.

6. The Renew Teddy Liner

I lived in New England most of my life, and these teddy liners are basically a rite of passage for Bostonians. This one isn’t from Patagonia (gotta be a little different, right?) but it’s still eco-friendly, because it’s made from recycled polyester.

7. The Wide Leg Crop Pant

Nearly half of the PureWow edit team owns these and they look flattering and effortlessly cool on everyone, regardless of body type or height. I’ll start with this green surplus color and check them off my list one at a time. P.S. How cute will they look with black combat boots or even those Everlane Glove Boots I want for Christmas? (Hint, hint, Mom.)

everlane jumpsuit final

8. The Modern Utility Jumpsuit

I’ve been seeing utility jumpsuits like this one on the streets of New York for the past few weeks, and now I can’t stop thinking about them. I workout before heading to the office, and I always struggle with putting together outfits while half asleep in the morning (and not forgetting my laptop in the process). This jumpsuit is a throw-on-and-go look that will trick my coworkers into thinking I put a lot of effort into my outfit, when I really didn’t. Life hack.

9. The Cashmere Rib Beanie

This beanie is truly the only reason why I’m not going to complain about winter this year. It’s knit from cashmere…cashmere, guys! Who wouldn’t want to wear a non-itchy, sublimely soft hat when the temps hit freezing?
