I will be the first to admit that I struggle with creating fresh outfits for the office. My typical “professional” look of choice is usually something along the lines of a dark-colored blazertailored dress pants and either pointed-toe pumps or boots, with some sort of tote bag as my designated accessory. While there is nothing wrong with wearing that combo every time you have to head into work, I've been itching to switch things up a bit, especially as the temps drop. Currently, I’ve got my eye on Cupshe, which is a great place to shop for capsule wardrobe necessities at super affordable prices. Not only is the brand stocked with cute going-out dresses, it also features a curated collection for the office commuter—good news for me *and* you if you're also in the market to shake up your usual work attire.

To help get us started, I’ve pulled a few pieces from the brand’s fall offerings that can assist with laying the foundation for a seasonal office wardrobe, from a Taylor Swift-esque gingham minidress you can mix and match with an assortment of pieces to a neutral-colored blazer that offers plenty of versatility.

A minidress/boots combo is a total fall staple that also works for the office depending on how you style it—and this one's easy. The gingham design and pleated details give it some academia-inspired flair, while the short sleeves and deep V-neck make it ideal for layering with turtleneck sweaters and long-sleeve tops (as shown by the model here). I’m thinking knee-high boots as the finishing touch, but you could also go with a pair of platform Mary Janes à la Taylor Swift if that is more your fancy.

Boasting a classic silhouette and a neutral hue that allows for a range of styling options, this blazer is an essential finishing touch you can count on if you’re running late, or are just looking to keep your #OOTD chic and simple. It has a tailored cut that flatters your upper torso, while still being roomy enough for easy movement. One of my favorite things about this piece is the unique pleating on the sleeves, which gives the design a higher-end look (without the high-end price tag).

A little birdie told me that flowy trousers are totally *in* this season, and this wide-leg pair is perfection. The tie belt offers adjustability and a waist-cinching effect, while the unique vertical seaming at the leg will help to elongate your figure. The back is pocketless to accentuate the booty, and the wide hems are finished off with a neat cuff, so you can show off your new boots.

Is your fall wardobe truly complete without at least one leopard-print skirt in your arsenal? I think not! Bold animal prints are another popular trend this fall, meaning you can’t go wrong with this striking satin style. It has a flattering, body-skimming fit, and a hem that's meant to hit at just the right spot on your calf to don with anything from knee-high boots to slingbacks. The midi length also makes it a preferred choice for the office, IMO.

A little black dress will never, ever fail you. Whether you are stuck in a fashion rut, in need of a throw-on-and-go outfit because you didn’t pick one out the night before or just want something that you absolutely know is going to look fabulous, this front-twist LBD is one that will come in handy more times than you can count. Complete with a surplice neckline and tulip hem, it offers multiple points of elegant draping that'll instantly make your outfit look and feel more elevated.  Plus, you’ve got to love the quality you’re getting at a super affordable price.
