Back then I was all about the trendy jewelry, classic handbags and colorful silk bandanas, but nowadays I’ve become obsessed with the incredible outerwear, flirty-yet-polished dresses and pants that fit like a dream. Denim midis and maxis have been trending for a while now, but I’ve had some trouble finding a style that really made me excited to try one. Enter this button-front midi! I really like that the buttons, which are all functional, by the way, are shifted to the side for a more elegant side slit rather than the usual slit up the middle or back. The medium blue wash is also incredible versatile, so I can dress this beauty up for cocktails or down for a casual cookie exchange.

I had a very hard time narrowing down Ann Taylor’s incredible outerwear options to find my top pick, and the title very nearly went to this double-breasted red peacoat (that color!). But in the end I just can’t stop thinking about this gray-and-white plaid beauty. It is a classic winter pattern, done up in slightly unexpected colors and sure to stand out from the sea of usual black puffer coats. It also has both vertical welt pockets and front flap pockets so you can keep your hands toasty warm and your essentials safely tucked away from the elements.

Be the best dressed guest at any and all holiday parties with this crystal-adorned pullover. It has matching lines of jewel clusters running down each side of the collar, and is made of a super-soft polyester/nylon/spandex blend that reviewers say is also nice and breathable. The slightly flared leg looks fabulous with almost any shoe choice, and yes, these pants do indeed come in petite sizes. They also have a Curvy cut available which has more room in the hips and bum to provide a better fit for those with a more exaggerated hip-to-waist ratio.
