I don't know about you, but when I sport a new pair of comfortable sneakers on a walk, or jog I feel like I move faster. Plus, I feel super cute. But with Allbirds' newest drop, the Tree Flyers shoe, it's not all in my head. From the unique shape of the midsole to the dual support for high-intensity and low-intensity movement, this design delivers on all fronts.

When I shop for sneakers, I look for a few things: versatility, aesthetic, support and durability. A shoe that can only be used for one activity is obviously not ideal, and neither is an unattractive or ill-fitting pair. I have very narrow feet and some good ol' bunions that need a snug fit without restricting my foot too much, and I was pleasantly surprised with the Tree Flyers.

These sneakers have a form fitting, netting-like upper that offers wonderful breathability and flexibility for walking and running. They're easy to slip on and you won't have to worry about your feet sweating. The SwiftFoam midsole—designed to be lightweight and springy—is extremely supportive and give your heel a good bounce, which I love for when I'm taking a long walk along Lake Michigan. And while that geometric-shaped heel may not aesthetically be for everyone, let me tell you, it helps my balance tremendously, plus I feel like it's super cool looking. My one qualm: When I run for speed, the upper doesn't offer a ton of support and are a little too flexible. I tend to jog and walk for the most part, though, so this hasn't been much of an issue.

A lot of sneakers need a little breaking in before you feel the full comfort and effects of the support, but these ones were ready to go upon first wear. I'm a daily sneaker wearer, as I go on multiple Hot Girl Walks per day, so these have gotten some significant wear over the last month and have held up beautifully. Not only is the support still willfully intact, the upper is not snagged or stretched, and the midsole is void of any creasing and scuffing.

The shoes are available in five colorways, and they're practically guaranteed to be buyer's remorse-free: If you try 'em and you aren't crazy about them, you have 30 days to return them.

Run, don't walk, to get a pair for yourself.
