You know those moments when your child is begging to watch something but you don’t necessarily want to stream an entire 28-minute episode (say, in line at the grocery store or while sitting in traffic)? And sure, you *could* let them scroll through TikTok but that's basically asking for trouble. It sure would be nice to offer up a mini episode of something to keep them entertained that also offers some educational content too. Enter: VeeFriends.

Billed as Spongebob Squarepants meets Teen Titans Go, with just a splash of Sesame Street, each three-minute episode centers around various cartoon characters competing against each other in the "VeeDome" to battle it out over major issues facing kids today (think: learning from setbacks, how to deal with big feelings and turning failure into personal growth).

Full disclosure: VeeFriends was created and produced by Gary Vaynerchuk, chairman of VaynerX—PureWow's parent company—but the series' mission to "reshape how kids view the world by embracing challenges and defeat, teaching that failure is a key step toward growth" is one that impressed our parents.

Each episode will be available to stream on YouTube starting September 30, with new episodes dropping weekly on Saturdays after the premiere.

Rated for children aged 6 to 11, VeeFriends features six main characters: Dialed-In Dog, Empathy Elephant, Dynamic Dinosaur, Fearless Fairy, Perfect Persian Cat and Gracious Grizzly Bear. As the friends battle it out in the VeeDome, they must find a balance of being their authentic selves while also being flexible, cooperative and understanding of others. "Every character who steps into the VeeDome comes out a little stronger and a lot more self-aware," say creators, and well, isn't that a good lesson for all of us?

"I created VeeFriends to help change the world and inspire people to see things from others' perspectives through relatable characters. I am so excited that this show is finally coming to life," says Vaynerchuk. "For this first animated series, we use epic, action-packed stories to give kids the tools to handle their emotions, build resilience, and truly embrace who they are. That’s where the real win happens."
