Sure, 4th of July weekend can be tons of fun for us—picnicspool partiesweekend getaways, you know the drill. But for our pets, the loud fireworks that come along with the celebrations can be terrifying. Luckily, pet wellness brand Pet Releaf has an entire line of calming treats (a personal fave of my own pup) and CBD oil that are formulated to help ease their stress, whether they hate loud noises or get restless during car rides. And from now through June 19, you can save 20 percent on them when you use code FIREWORKS at checkout, so it's the perfect time to stock up. Here's a rundown of a few of my favorite, pup-approved options to snag before the festivities.

These CBD-infused treats, which come in this peanut butter flavor my picky dog loves (so much so that I caught him trying to steal the *whole* bag) and a bacon flavor, are available in two different strengths. One is for dogs between 1 and 25 pounds with 3mg of CBD, while the other is for dogs 26 pounds and over, and contains 6mg of CBD. The treats are also enhanced with organic baobab, which contains beneficial antioxidants, and chamomile for its additional calming effects.

Also available in two CBD strengths—300mg for dogs and cats under 25 pounds and 600mg for dogs 26 pounds and over—this oil is specifically formulated for pets using USDA-certified organic ingredients including organic full spectrum hemp extract, organic ashwagandha and organic MCT oil. Just note that, according to the brand, the recommended dosage should be split between morning and night, and shouldn't be given at mealtimes.

This ultra-relief oil is made to absorb better and last longer than traditional CBD, making it a great option for pets who have ongoing issues, per the brand. This one comes in three strengths: 100mg (for cats and dogs under 25 pounds), 300mg (for dogs 26 pounds and over) and 600 mg (for dogs 76 pounds and over). In addition to offering the desired calming effects, this formula is also intended to support pets' immune systems and promote skin health. For this oil, it's best to again split the recommended dosage between morning and night, but this one should be given with meals.
