If you’re looking for a gritty thriller to add to your streaming queue, you’ve come to the right place.

Introducing Your Lucky Day, which is gaining popularity on Netflix. The film originally premiered in September 2023, but it recently claimed the number five spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked behind Irish Wish, Damsel, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Cat & Dog.)

Your Lucky Day takes place in a convenience store and follows a man who learns that his lottery ticket is worth $156 million. Instead of quietly exiting the store, he informs the strangers around him of his winning ticket.

This prompts a bystander to take matters into his own hands by pulling out a gun and demanding the man hand over the ticket. It doesn’t take long to realize that the witnesses will do whatever it takes to get a cut of the grand prize.

Cast members include Angus Cloud, Elliot Knight, Jessica Garza, Sterling Beaumon, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Jason Wiles, Spencer Garrett, Jason O'Mara and Sebastian Sozzi.

If Cloud looks familiar, that’s probably because he’s known for portraying Fezco on Euphoria. Your Lucky Day is one of the actor’s last movies, as he sadly passed away in 2023.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “A confrontation with a lottery winner turns lethal, leaving the desperate witnesses—and self-interested cops—to wrangle over the $156 million ticket.”

Oh, and did we mention that Your Lucky Day has an 86 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes? *Adds to streaming queue*
