Where to Spot 10 Celebrities in the Hamptons

Let's play "Where's Martha?"

We Hamptonites may pretend we don’t notice when a celebrity is in our Barry’s Bootcamp class. But the truth is, we love a good sighting as much as the next gal. (How about that time we sat next to Marc Jacobs on the Jitney, huh?)

Here’s a look at ten celebrities who rule the East End--and where you might spot them (you know, casually).

hamptons celebs ina garten

Ina Garten (east Hampton)

All hail the patron saint of the Hamptons. For years, the Barefoot Contessa owned a local food shop and filmed her Food Network show in her East End kitchen. Look for her on the Main Beach pavilion, sipping Champagne with friends at sunset.

hamptons celebs martha stewart

Martha Stewart (east Hampton)

When not at her perfectly manicured Lily Pond Lane estate, the domestic goddess has been spotted sifting through silverware sets at the East Hampton Historical Society’s Annual Antiques Show.

hamptons celebs christie brinkley

Christie Brinkley (sag Harbor)

Her love affair with the East End is everlasting. Her love affair with Peter Cook…not so much. Look for this supermodel breezing about The American Hotel (her ex got former hangout New Paradise Café in the divorce).

hamptons celebs jerry seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld (east Hampton)

Keep your eyes peeled and you might spot this funnyman cruising in a vintage car with a famous friend; he’s been known to tape episodes of his online show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” at Babette’s.

hamptons celebs russell simmons

Russell Simmons (east Hampton)

Uncle Rush is just as likely to be spotted surrounded by a bevy of women at the latest Hamptons hot spot as he is to be seen talking shop with Rabbi Marc Schneier.

hamptons celebs kelly ripa

Kelly Ripa (southampton)

Live with Kelly and Michael aside, Ripa also cohosts one of the biggest annual East End charity events, Super Saturday, scheduled this year for July 25.

hamptons celebs donna karan

Donna Karan (east Hampton)

The designer happens to be the other cohost of Super Saturday. And Karan’s daughter owns one of the area's most popular eateries, Tutto il Giorno. Score an outdoor table at the Southampton spot, order the octopus and become a spy on the sly.

hamptons celebs sjp

Sarah Jessica Parker And Matthew Broderick (amagansett)

Everyone’s favorite (understated) power couple has fittingly set up shop in two beachside cottages in Amagansett, one of the quaintest areas in the Hamptons. You might see the lovebirds getting fresh tomatoes at Round Swamp Farm or frolicking on the beach in Montauk. (Hint: Look for parking behind The Sloppy Tuna.)

hamptons celebs andy cohen

Andy Cohen (east Hampton)

The host of Watch What Happens Live owns a modest abode in Noyac Bay--and can be thanked for bringing throngs of Real Housewives fans out east each summer. When not attempting to keep the peace, he’s been known to nosh at LT Burger in Sag Harbor.
