‘Virgin River’ Behind-the-Scenes Clip Sparks New Theory About Christopher

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Virgin River producers are known for sharing behind-the-scenes videos on the show’s official social media page. But did you know the latest sneak peek featured a potential clue for season four?

It all started last week when producers shared a BTS clip on Instagram, featuring Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) on set with the rest of the cast and crew. “Hey, everybody out there in the internet land. We’re out here doing season four of Virgin River,” she says in the footage, while the rest of the gang cheers in the background.

As Express points out, Christopher (Chase Petriw) is noticeably missing from the scene. And many fans think his absence is a possible spoiler about what’s to come in the new installment. For example, does this mean that Vince (Steve Bacic) successfully overpowered Connie (Nicola Cavendish) to kidnap Christopher?

The theory makes sense, especially because the season three finale features a scuffle between Connie and Vince for Christopher. Although it’s unclear how it ends, the behind-the-scenes clip offers two major hints: 1. Connie seems to survive because her character looks untouched (for the most part). And 2. Christopher is nowhere to be found, which probably means that Vince is successful.

Unfortunately, this could mean many things for the future of the characters. If true, Christopher’s kidnapping will likely get a response from Paige (Lexa Doig), who was MIA in season three. It will also force her to come clean about Vince’s brother, who was Christopher’s dad.

Fingers crossed this is just a big misunderstanding.
