The caption read, “Our very own Hope McCrea. Why is she dressed like this? Tune in July 20th to find out [smiley emoji].”
O’Toole commented on the post and teased a possible renaissance festival, writing, “Ye Olde Fun and Merriment in Virgin River!”
This is a pretty big deal for Virgin River fans because the season three finale ended on a cliffhanger that made viewers question whether Hope would return for the new installment. If you recall, the character was injured in a car accident while driving back to Virgin River.
Still, this isn’t the first time that Netflix has posted a photo of O’Toole on the set of Virgin River season 4. Last year, the streaming service shared a BTS video on social media, featuring several female cast members on their last day of filming. This includes Stacey Farber (Tara), Gwynyth Walsh (Jo Ellen), Nicola Cavendish (Connie), Christina Jastrzembska (Lydie), Teryl Rothery (Muriel) and—of course—O’Toole.
Virgin River season 4 will hit Netflix on July 20. And when it does, you know where to find us.
