1. What's 'the One' About?

The One is based on the namesake novel by John Marrs, which offers a terrifying (yet hypothetical) glimpse into the future of relationships. The story addresses the age-old question: How far would you go to find your perfect match?

You see, dating has been broken down to a science. All it takes is one simple DNA test, and this new software will connect you to “the one” you’re genetically made for. Pretty cool, right? Well, everything changes when someone turns up dead, and investigators turn their attention to the woman who started it all: Rebecca (Hannah Ware).

2. When Does It Premiere?

The One will premiere on Friday, March 12. The episodes will be exclusively available on Netflix, so happy streaming!

3. Who's In It?

In addition to Ware, The One also stars Stephen Campbell Moore (Damian), Olivia Chenery (Holly), Lois Chimimba (Hannah), Albano Jerónimo (Matheus), Eric Kofi-Abrefa (Mark), Dimitri Leonidas (James), Diarmaid Murtagh (Connor), Jana Pérez (Sophia), Wilf Scolding (Ethan) and Zoë Tapper (Kate).

4. Is There A Trailer?

Absolutely. The teaser offers a glimpse into the chilling storyline, which follows Rebecca’s “reckless” journey to helping people find true love.

“You have no idea the sacrifices I’ve made for this company,” she says in the clip. And then adds, “Maybe none of us really know what’s important until we have to choose.”
