If you can't get enough of edge-of-your-seat dramas like The Diplomat (which has been trending on Netflix ever since season two premiered), then you’re in luck because The Night Agent season two is coming your way.

Netflix just released a brand-new teaser for The Night Agent season two, and it looks even more binge-worthy than the first season.

Based on the 2019 novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent follows an FBI agent named Peter Sutherland whose dream is to become a Night Agent. The first season ends with Peter saving the president and, as a result, getting the rare opportunity to join the top-secret organization, called Night Agent.

Season two further explores this career shift, as shown in the brand-new teaser. This time, he won’t be on the receiving end of the late-night phone calls. Instead, he’s the one making the calls.

Now, Peter encounters way more action in the field, but can he handle this newfound pressure? “It takes a certain kind of person to succeed as a Night Agent,” a voiceover says in the clip.

Gabriel Basso is reprising his role as Peter Sutherland in the show’s second season, along with Kari Matchett (President Michelle Travers) and Luciane Buchanan (Rose Larkin).

The Night Agent season two also features several newcomers, including Amanda Warren (The Leftovers), Arienne Mandi (Tatami), Louis Herthum (Westworld), Berto Colon (Orange Is the New Black), Michael Malarkey (The Vampire Diaries) and Keon Alexander (The Expanse).

The Night Agent season two is set to hit Netflix on January 23.
