This New Thriller Series Has Joined ‘Bridgerton’ and ‘Selling Sunset’ as One of the Top Shows on Netflix

Right now, there is some stiff competition on Netflix's list of most-watched TV shows.

The top ten currently includes major hits like Bridgerton and Selling Sunset, both of which just had their latest seasons come out. Meanwhile, other popular shows like the Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul, and the Love Is Blind spinoff, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, are both still trending as well.

However, there is a brand-new Netflix series that has just climbed its way into the top ten, and we are certainly intrigued. A mystery, telenovela-style series called The Marked Heart (Pálpito in Spanish) is currently the number-three show on the streaming site. Check out the trailer below.

In The Marked Heart, a man named Simón (Michel Brown) discovers that his wife was murdered so her heart could be transplanted into the body of another woman named Camila (Ana Lucía Domínguez), and this whole plot was orchestrated by Camila's wealthy husband, Zacarías (Sebastián Martínez). Upon making this shocking discovery, Simón sets out for revenge, unaware that his feelings (and the power of his wife's heart) will end up getting in the way.

Alongside these leads, The Marked Heart also stars Miguel González, David Páez, Margarita Muñoz, Valeria Emiliani, Moisés Arizmendi, Mauricio Cujar, Juan Fernando Sánchez and more. Camilo Vega acted as director, while Clara María Ochoa and Ana Piñeres were executive producers on the series.

All 14 episodes of the first season are now available to stream on Netflix. We will definitely be checking this one out.
