This Jonah Hill & Emma Stone Movie Just Topped Netflix’s Most-Watched Charts

One of the hottest movies on Netflix isn’t a new release, but it’s exactly the kind of throwback we all need right now.

Although Superbad originally premiered in 2007, the film recently became available on the streaming service. After a few days, it’s already ranked number seven on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently behind We Can Be Heroes, Good Burger and Charming.)

Superbad tells the story of two best friends, Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera), who are taking full advantage of their last few days as high schoolers. This includes using fake IDs to purchase alcohol, so they can throw a gigantic house party that will go down in the books. However, things take an awkward turn when they cross paths with two cops, who make it their mission to show them what a “good time” actually looks like. It’s scored an 88 percent on Rotten Tomatoes for the way it balances out raunchy comedy with sincere moments about friendship and growing up, which may explain why the movie remains popular nearly 14 years later.

In addition to Hill and Cera, Superbad also stars Emma Stone (Jules), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fogell), Bill Hader (Officer Slater), Seth Rogan (Officer Michaels), Martha MacIsaac (Becca), Aviva Baumann (Nicola), Joe Lo Truglio (Francis) and Kevin Corrigan (Mark).

The movie was directed by Greg Mottola (Keeping Up with the Joneses). Rogen wrote the script alongside Evan Goldberg (This Is the End), while Judd Apatow (Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile) and Shauna Robertson (Pineapple Express) served as executive producers.

Oh, how we’ve missed you, McLovin.
