Now that we know a Suits spinoff is officially in the works, we can’t help but wonder what the new series (which takes place in the same universe) will look like. So are we headed back to the Big Apple? Or will the spinoff follow a new set of characters in a different law firm?
Luckily, Beatrice Springborn (aka the President of Universal International Studios and UCP) was able to give fans some insight into the series. Back in November, the boss attended an industry content conference in the U.K.
When asked about the spinoff, Springborn said (per Variety), “We are working on it right now. It’s so fun and happy.” Though she referred to the show as Suits L.A., the title has not been confirmed officially. She also revealed that they are trying to capture the “same energy” as the original.
